Bomi Roberson, MS

For the past ten years, I have developed, implemented, and expanded community outreach programs in the higher education and nonprofit sectors. My ability to see the “big picture” has allowed me to identify opportunities for growth and plan marketing initiatives that engaged diverse audiences.

My main strengths include public speaking and building internal and external coalitions. A large part of my job includes public speaking, and in recent years, I have captured cost by using multimedia outlets to reduce the need for frequent travel. I take the time to understand the needs of various stakeholders and design regular communications and presentations to ensure public awareness remains a top priority. My average email marketing campaigns reach more than 15,000 people, but deliver personalized services when addressing individual concerns or troubleshooting issues.

Performance management is key, and I have strong program management skills to ensure all activities are operating on time and on budget. I believe I have a “growing hand” when it comes to program development and I produce quantifiable results.
